This machine is not the same as other used JetScan machines sold on eBay...99% of the machines sold on eBay have been heavily used, and without regular servicing or the seller has no maintenance history on the machine..that means you are most likely buying a machine that may work fine when you receive it....but you can expect to pay for complete overhaul/rebuild soon after you buy it. They It's kind of like buying a car that runs when you buy it, but because it never had any service done on it before, it will need everything at once: oil change, transmission fluid flush, clutch, new belts, new hoses, spark plugs, coolant flush, new battery, brake pads and rotors, 4 new tires, tune up, complete detail in/out, windshield repair, some paintless dent removal, I'm sure you get the idea. Our machines are sold after being completely rebuilt and fully serviced, so you won't need to worry about any of that for a couple of years with typical usage....instead of a couple of weeks or months if you are lucky. Our price may be slightly higher because you are buying the peace of mind that comes along with knowing exactly what you are buying. Many Sellers will also advertise that their machine is 'Like New', but the machine is several generations/decades old. It is usually because they just don't know the difference themselves, but you can spot the oldest machines simply looking at the color of the buttons: Any machine that is tan or yellow color with mostly white buttons along the bottom row are at least 14+ Years old. How many 14+ year old use cars have you seen that were "Like New" ? The newest machines have either Green or Black Buttons along the bottom row, like in our product photo's. Please read this entire listing for other critical information as we have provided other information to help you be a much more informed Buyer. Not only do we sell a far superior product, we also are willing to educate any customer about what to look out for whether you consider buying from us or not....No other Seller on eBay is willing to do this. Also, make sure you only consider a Seller with a high positive feedback count AND a lots of happy positive feedback from Buyers who have purchased a Jetscan or other similarly priced machine from them on eBay.
All recommended maintenance service was completed, and all parts were replaced including: (1) Center drive tire, (8) Sealed Bearings,(2) Reverse/Retard Rollers, (2) Large and (1) Small O-rings, (2) Feed Roller inserts, (2) Pick Roller Inserts, (4) Transport Rollers, (1) Ratchet Assembly, New $100 Software Update was installed, all sensors/components thoroughly inspected, entire machine cleaned, and then fully calibrated to specification and tested. If you are considering buying another machine that the Seller claims was 'just serviced', ask them for close up pictures like mine and then compare the color and condition of the rollers to the new parts shown in my photo's. If any parts don't look exactly the same, perhaps rubber parts are much darker and worn on edges, then the machine was not just serviced and likely will need to be soon.
This machine has counterfeit detection and counts mixed bills all at once. This is the same model you see on the counter at your bank or casino. We have almost every model JetScan in stock including: 4068, 4062, 4065, 4069, 4098, 4096, 4099, etc...but we only list 4062's on ebay because they are the most popular. CONFUSED ABOUT WHICH MODELS ARE UPGRADABLE FOR NEWLY RELEASED BILLS? READ THIS:
This machine is upgradable for any new bills released in the future, make sure you don't buy a boat anchor or machine that cannot be updated for new bills. HERE'S HOW TO TELL: Any machine that DOES NOT HAVE "99" as the 4th and 5th digit of the long model number CANNOT BE UPDATED FOR NEW BILLS, DO NOT BUY AT ANY PRICE. For example: 406-**02-00, **=MUST BE 99 or machine is very old and cannot be updated for new $100's or any other new bills going forward. This includes models like these: 406-9702-00, 406-9000-00, 406-9705-00, etc....ALSO: Any machine that is white, tan or yellow from UV exposure and you can see a 'CA' logo before the words "Cummins Jetscan" on the front panel, then the machine is at least 14-20 Years old. Although you may see these advertised as 'like new', they are very very old machines and you are much better off purchasing a much newer machine for a couple of dollars more which are the grey colored models..which replaced that tan machines starting in 2003. The oldest machines have mostly white buttons along the bottom row, with the rest being blue and gray. .the newest have either Green or Black buttons on the bottom row with the rest being only Grey.
